While looking at the artwork the spectator feels a certain peace. The artwork aims to make people think about the process that takes places within the institution. The modern ‘stained glass’ window connects different stories. By playing with light, the artwork gets even more layered secrets.
Inspired by traditional stained glass-windows, Thijs has researched working with plexiglass and wood to make a modern version of stained glass-windows. All parts are laser cut and put together manually in a tailormade frame by Thijs himself.
